About Schorne Preschool

Established in 1994 as a charity, Schorne Preschool offers a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for 2-5-year-olds. Open during term times for 5 days a week, we provide up to 30 hours of childcare weekly. Our child-oriented approach promotes choice and engagement, offering diverse activities, tailored resources to children's interests and focus on their holistic development.

We pride ourselves in our childcare knowledge, we ensure that all members of staff are handpicked for their qualifications, skills and capabilities. We place a strong emphasis on team working and training, and believe in retaining our staff.  All staff are qualified to a level 2 and higher.

Committee members

Our dedicated group of individuals committed to ensuring the well-being, growth, and development of our little learners. As a vital component of the Schorne Preschool community, our committee plays an integral role in shaping the educational experience of the children in our care.


Together, they work collaboratively to make decisions, oversee the preschool's operations, and provide valuable support to both our teaching staff and the families we serve.
